Responsible Citizens of Intercultural Europe, Kobuleti, Georgia

Three IUS members Anastasiya Prychynenko, Oleksandr Melnyk and Khrystyna Protsiuk had a chance to represent Ukraine at the training course “Responsible Citizens of Intercultural Europe” that took place in Kobuleti, Georgia from Oct. 28th to Nov. 5th.

During the intense five days of training they participated in discussions and shared their knowledge with representatives of eight other european countries: Azerbaijan, Italy, Poland, Georgia, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Romania.

Group work and role plays helped them to deepen their knowledge about identity, Europe, human rights and responsible citizenship. The topics covered included volunteering for the local community, responsible attitute to the environment, active participation in political life of the society etc.

In the last two days the participants enjoyed the beautiful weather and sightseeing in Batumi, Kutaisi and Black Sea coast.
