“Learnt Lessons in Youth Regional Cooperation”, 09-17.10.2013, Mavrovo and Skopje, Macedonija

Two members of our organization Mykhaylo Hevko and Iryna Bohachuk presented Institute of Ukrainian Studies and Ukraine in general on Seminar “Learnt Lessons in Youth Regional Cooperation”. This youth activity gathered representatives of such countries: Albania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Kosovo, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Turkey, UK and Ukraine.

The main aim of this Seminar was to encourage and create opportunities for representatives of youth sector (policy-makers, youth researchers, youth workers and young people), to share experiences and knowledge on youth cooperation, and engage them in a dialogue to foster the EU social cohesion.

Participants were divided into 5 working group’s according the sub – regional distribution. They had a task to identify best practices in youth regional cooperation during the period 2007 – 2013, to share and to analyze them during the seminar, targeted to define a cooperation regional strategy for the period 2014 – 2020 in the field of youth and social cohesion.

This Seminar was facilitated by great experts, who together with organizers made this youth activity useful and unforgettable!
